The gamer's dilemna
Video game prototype created during my research at ENS Paris-Saclay. The goal was to encapsulate my current research concerning amateur game practices, in this case the creation of a video game without knowledge of coding architecture.
The resulting game led to constrained narrative and interactive choices, both stemming from bitsy's limitations and the lack comprehensive creative models to navigate through this process. This game is situated within alternative gaming interfaces and hopes to explore the relationship between player and creator status during the design process.

Really interesting questionning the process of making game by itself. And the imposter syndrome is really palpable in a way, but you DID make a game that I played. So for me the question is answered ! The onboarding is really great in a really simple yet efficient way.
Also I wished there was a little secret out of the road where you manifested other questions like how did you encounter all that stuff that you never experienced ? And is it not also a amalgam of other's memories ?
Anyway, I look forward to the next production you'll do Bento :)
